Contemporary statement jewellery made from polyester resin and oxidised Sterling silver
Originally from France, Cécile is a jeweller living and working in Brighton, UK. She launched Tiki in 2012. She was one of IJL Kickstarters of 2016.
Her main medium is polyester resin, which she combines with oxidised Sterling silver.
Her inspiration comes from 1930s Bakelite jewellery, the Art Deco movement and Midcentury design. She has created a range of contemporary pieces that reflects those qualities, whilst adding a 21st century sophistication.
Tiki offers a wide spectrum of jewels, from long necklaces, striking bangles and slim bracelets to drop earrings, circular brooches and chunky rings.
Through the years, she has developed unique cutout and recasting techniques, which enable her to produce geometric patterns and eye-catching shapes and designs.
She also mixes her own pigments in order to build an exclusive colour palette of beautiful Lime Green, Tangerine and Teal alongside Jet Black and Ivory White.
Designed in a distinctive modernist style, pieces are lightweight and can be worn as everyday accessory or a sophisticated touch to a stylish attire.
Each Tiki jewel is carefully made from start to finish in her Brighton studio. Each is a one-of a-kind piece, slightly differing in pattern, assuring that your piece is unique.
